Popular figures such as  American political commentator Jackson Hinkle took to his official X account (formerly known as Twitter) and advertised the new app saying:

"🔻🇵🇸 Follow me on Redz, the new PALESTINIAN challenger to TikTok!" This is no small feat as Hinkle has garnered a whopping 2.3 million followers on X with many of them being active by the time of writing this article.

Redz witnessed a spike in pro-Palestine social media creators joining the platform including influencers, journalists, and more from all over the Middle East such as Saleh Al Jafrawi showing the ongoing struggles of the Gazan people amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7.

By the time of writing this article, Gaza's death toll surpassed the 22,000 mark with over 57,000 injured according to the Health Ministry.

Redz could also benefit from Tiktok being banned from Palestine's neighboring country Jordan since De. 22, 2022. As many Jordanian users have to resort to alternative methods such as VPN to get Tiktok working in the country.

Take in mind that Redz isn't only about sharing news and content about the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since it allows content creators and users to post content such as comedic skits, funny videos, art, and more similar to Tiktok.

Homyt's Redz offers users something Tiktok should've had for ages!
