The World Bank, in partnership with the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), will shortly open its first Public Information Centre (PIC) in Algiers. The new move is aimed at promoting the World Bank's various activities in Algeria and elsewhere in the world.

According to APS, the draft agreement regarding the establishment of this centre, was signed Monday by CACI Director General, Mohamed Chami, and the World Bank Country Director for the Maghreb, Theodore Ahers, in the presence of the trade ministry's secretary general and representatives of Algerian employer associations.

The PIC will be officially inaugurated early July in CACI's premises. (menareport.com)
