Xerox Emirates, the UAE joint venture of Xerox Corporation, recently
announced 45 percent growth in equipment sales for the first nine months of
2000.
This has been an excellent year so far, and we are confident that with
more new products being launched, the final months of the year will be just
as successful", conveyed Keith Taylor, General Manager, Xerox Emirates.
Much of the growth was attributed to a boost in digital product sales, which
rose by 95 percent over last year's figures, driven by the company's award
winning Document Centre range of products. Moreover, color copier/printer
sales skyrocketed by 135 percent over the same period. Mr. Taylor pointed to
increased investment in training, and new product and service offerings, as
added reasons for the growth.
Xerox is showing year over year growth in the UAE, and we are committed to
providing our partners in the region with the right products, solutions and
service support needed to maintain this momentum", remarked Gustavo Leite,
Vice President, Xerox Middle East and Africa Distributor Operations.
