Deputy Chief Executive of the Saudi Basic Industries Company (SABIC), Mohammed Bin Hamad, said that as of March, the Saudi Petrochemicals Company (Yanbut), a subsidiary of SABIC, has begun commercial production at the Yanbut 2 Petrochemicals Manufacturing Complex, reports Al-Watan daily.
The Yanbut 2 project produces 420,000 tons of glycol ethylene, 535,000 tons of polyethylene, 260,000 tons of polypropylene, 800,000 tons of ethylene and 160,000 tons of propylene annually. –(MENA Report)
