Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) marked its 30th anniversary recently with a celebration for its 1,400 Dammam-based employees and senior management. Keynote speeches and presentations reflected upon the milestone achievements of the past three decades and conveyed the company’s vision for the future. An awards ceremony also honored 132 employees for serving the company between 20 and 30 years.
Ahmad Abdullah Al Zamil, President of ZAC, applauded staff for ensuring the company’s tremendous success over the years and to contributing towards its recognition as a clear industry leader in the Middle East and an increasingly powerful global player.
“On behalf of ZAC, as well as Zamil Industrial Investment Company and Al Zamil Group, I convey our deepest gratitude and appreciation to our employees, clients, dealers, agents and distributors for their ongoing support around the world,” said Ahmad Al Zamil.
“When we commenced operations in 1975 we produced 15 room air conditioners per day. Today, through prudent leadership, strategic foresight and the adoption of leading and proprietary technologies we have become a leader in the HVAC industry and have the capacity to produce an air conditioning unit in less than 30 seconds. The dedication and professionalism of our team in achieving this level of production to meet growing demand is the substance that will drive us to realize our future vision. In addition, the positive results of an ongoing commitment to our Saudization initiative will also expand, serving further Saudi citizens and the local community,” added Ahmad Al Zamil.
ZAC continues to develop its own proprietary technologies and has established and expanded the most sophisticated Air Conditioning Technology Center in the Middle East. The company’s brands are widely trusted and can be found in several countries around the world. An Original Equipment Manufacturer program is testimony to the capabilities and quality of the company’s products.
Osama Al Bunyan, ZAC’s Vice President, articulated the company’s vision and mission and highlighted the successes of various management initiatives that have been recently implemented. He also conveyed the road map for implementation of the company’s strategic path for the future.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Zamil, Chief Operating Officer, Zamil Industrial Investment Company, reiterated his appreciation to all ZAC employees and praised the compassionate leadership style of Mr. Ahmad Al Zamil, which he said stressed the importance of trusting the human element.
Looking towards the future, Abdulla Al Zamil added: “Achieving success means never losing sight of our core values and always communicating them among ourselves and with all of our stakeholders. This is the cornerstone of our culture and business philosophy.”
