Cairo Amman Bank sponsors the first month of KHCC’s Eighth Annual Summer Camp for the fourth year in a row

HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), inaugurated today the Eighth Annual Summer Camp for pediatric patients at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).

For the fourth year in a row, Cairo Amman Bank is sponsoring the first phase of the Summer Camp, which extends over a period of six weeks to include various activities such as magic shows, theatrical and musical performances, games, face painting and a variety of other entertaining and educational activities. 

“The Annual Summer Camp is considered one of the most successful activities organized by KHCF as it constitutes a major part of the overall therapeutic process we implement for our young cancer patients,” commented HRH Princess Dina Mired. “The activities bring the children plenty of joy as they spend time with their family and friends.”

HRH added that the summer camp, in addition to the benefits it delivers to the pediatric patients, provides an opportunity for the local community to get involved in the Foundation’s activities, and also plays a role in gathering support for KHCF’s activities to fight cancer. HRH also expressed her gratitude to Cairo Amman Bank’s management for their continued contributions over the years, which have made them a key partner in this substantial project.

The opening ceremony also incorporated many fun segments, to create a joyous atmosphere and entertain the audience. In addition to that, Cairo Amman Bank distributed gifts to all pediatric patients who participated.

The proceeds from the Foundation’s fundraising programs and activities are entirely dedicated to supporting the King Hussein Cancer Center and its mission to provide quality comprehensive cancer care to patients from Jordan and the region.
