Under Oryx Rotana’s Corporate Social Responsibility umbrella, and to highlight the importance of volunteering and humanitarian work towards communities in distress around the globe, the hotel organized a donation drive for families affected by the eruption of the "Taal" volcano in the Philippines. The donations collected were shipped in early February. During the campaign, the hotel’s staff gathered some of basic necessities like: blankets, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet paper, cup noodles and many other that aimed to help the families affected by this natural disaster.
