The Arab league chief said all should be aware of Israel's continuing "atrocity and assault" in violation of human rights and international law. According to the AP, Amr Moussa said "Israel is the main reason for the black hole in the region."
He said Thursday that he appreciated Ankara's challenging Israel, and voiced condolences for the killing of nine people during an Israeli raid on a Turkish aid ship destined for Gaza last week.
Moussa addded "they are our martyrs as well."
