Crown Prince of Dubai honours du with prestigious 2010 Dubai Human Development Appreciation Programme Award
In the presence of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, accompanied by H.H Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al- Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai presented du with the prestigious 2010 Dubai Human Development Appreciation Programme (DHDAP) Award in appreciation of the company's significant efforts in facilitating the progress of human resource development, at the 16th Business Excellence Awards ceremony held on April 5, 2011 in Dubai.
Osman Sultan, CEO, du, accompanied by Fahad AlHassawi, Chief Human Resources and Shared Services Officer, du, in the presence of other members of du's senior management accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Recognising the continued contribution of the private sector in the professional development of the region's employee base, and in light of its successful efforts in shaping the UAE nationals' career paths, the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) presented awards to honour the winners of the 2010 cycle of the Dubai Quality Award (DQA), Dubai Human Development Award (DHDA) and the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES).
