Damas unveils 390 exclusive bridal sets during luxury jewellery event
Damas International Limited (Damas), the Middle East’s leading jewellery and watch retailer, unveiled 390 exclusive bridal jewellery sets during its luxury jewellery event recently at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai. A total of 26 jewellery sets from the new “Zaffa” collection was modelled during a fashion show at the invitation-only event, attended by up to 200 guests, including VIPs, fashion industry personalities, and brides-to-be.
Damas partnered with the Emirati fashion label DAS Collection and the international designer Walid Atallah, who provided the wedding gowns and abayas used in the fashion show.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Anan Fakhreddin, CEO of Damas, said: “This is a totally new and innovative collection, as we have designed pieces that not only suit all tastes and budgets, but also incorporate some of the world’s most beautiful styles and inspirations. Each design is completely one of a kind, which enables the bride to enjoy wearing a totally exclusive piece of exceptionally high quality jewellery”.
“For the past 100 years, Damas has been known to perfect the art of beauty, and this is clearly evident tonight with these style-setting pieces,” Fakhreddin added.
The Zaffa collection comprises handpicked diamonds of the most exquisite cut, colour and clarity; pearls of rare lustre and colour; as well as precious stones. The hand-crafted collection is built on a foundation of diamonds, with colours infused throughout certain sets via Burmese rubies, Sri Lankan and Madagascan sapphires, and Colombian and Zambian emeralds. Furthermore, the yellow and pink diamonds that are used in some pieces are completely natural, with each gem having international certification.
“Damas has a very strong creative design team from a mix of nationalities, which gives our customers a great opportunity to choose from a wide range of styles and collections. But most importantly, we understand how to design the right pieces to reflect the brides unique beauty and personality, and how to make the jewellery the centrepiece of a brides wedding day,” Fakhreddin concluded.
