During the ceremony held at Zabeel Park, a team of medical experts conducted blood sugar, blood pressure and BMI tests. The event was attended by dignitaries from the participating public sector entities as well as key representatives of various health organizations.

Dr Ayesha Abdullah, Managing Director, Dubai Healthcare City, said: “We are pleased to participate in the Yalla Walk Ramadan initiative and contribute to spreading awareness on the importance of a healthy lifestyle during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The month-long initiative promotes walking as an easy way to stay fit and encourages the community to make exercise an integral part of healthy living. DHCC’s support is in line with its CSR agenda and commitment to improving the lives of people.”

Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding, said: “SMC-INDEX is proud to sponsor Yalla Walk Ramadan as part of our efforts to raise awareness about healthy lifestyle habits and help people keep track of their blood pressure and sugar levels. We encourage people in large numbers to participate in this humanitarian initiative that places people’s wellbeing at its core.”

Yalla Walk Ramadan is a 30-day initiative that will kick off at the beginning of Ramadan. Besides DHCC, the event is supported by Al Maktoum Foundation and Al Fattan Properties.
