DP World receives high level Thai naval delegation

DP World, UAE Region recently received a high-ranking naval delegation from Thailand, led by His Excellency Admiral Thagerngsak Wangkaew, Chief of Staff, Royal Thai Navy.
Admiral Wangkaew and his team were received by Tariq Bin Khalifa, Director, Account Management - General Cargo, DP World, UAE Region, who highlighted the growing friendly relations between the UAE and Thailand and presented the visiting naval officers with a plaque commemorating their visit.
The delegation, which was given a tour of Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone facilities, commended Jebel Ali's advanced infrastructure and DP World's professional competency and commitment to quality.
Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World, UAE Region, said:
"We are honoured to welcome the Royal Thai Navy delegation led by Admiral Wangkaew. DP World has a strong and productive presence in Thailand and we believe this visit will further strengthen our ties and expand the opportunity for future cooperation."
DP World operates the Laem Chabang International Terminal (LCIT), a joint venture located 120 km from Bangkok.
