In a further demonstration of its continuous and unwavering commitment to supporting talented young Emiratis, du is welcoming UAE Nationals to explore up to 100 new career opportunities available through its graduate training programme, Masar, at this year’s Tawdheef - the region’s top recruitment show.

The company is participating in the event for the fifth consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to greater Emiratisation, which is currently at 23% of its total work force and 35% at the senior management level. du is targetting 25% Emiratisation by the end of 2011.

Existing du employees who are currently members in Masar will be welcoming Emirati fresh graduates and job seekers at the company’s stand (Number 64- Hall 3) at Tawdheef 2011, where they will brief visitors on the programme and advise potential candidates on the career opportunities available through the programme.

Inviting Emiratis to come and discover du’s Masar programme, Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Human Resources and Shared Services Officer, du, said: “Tawdheef is a not to be missed event for us.  Every year we see a lot of interest among young talented Emiratis who visit our stand to discuss career opportunities. We are positive this year will be no different, and we will successfully present suitable positions in our company. This year our Masar programme underwent further development with the introduction of Bedaya and Tamayaz courses, something we are really proud of. We invite young graduates to explore the many opportunities available and realise their career aspirations in a dynamic work environment that we can offer.”

Masar participants are offered various training during the 18-month programme which includes on-the-job practical training and assignments in addition to theory in coordination with various academic institutions in the UAE.

du also encourages Emirati graduates and jobseekers to explore the various opportunities available at the company by visiting www.du.ae/masar.

The fifth edition of the show, which is organised by Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council and Turret Media, will be held at Hall 3-6 from 25 to 27 January 2011 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
