Dubai Healthcare City hosts open-day for Microsoft Health Solutions Group

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), a member of TECOM Investments, today announced it hosted an open-day for Microsoft Health Solutions Group to showcase new offerings that are especially designed for healthcare providers, patients and care-givers.
Held on 17 October at DHCC Auditorium, the event provided Microsoft Health Solutions Group with a platform to highlight its partner-customer success stories and explore collaboration opportunities with DHCC.
Dr. Ayesha Abdullah, Managing Director of TECOM Investments' Sciences Cluster and Executive Director of DHCC, received the Microsoft Health Solutions Group team headed by Sam Amory, Business Development Executive; Dr Dave Dembo, HealthVault Business Development Executive, and Dr Paul Nicolarakis, Physician Executive.
Dr. Ayesha said: "As the first integrated healthcare free zone, DHCC remains committed to sustaining and improving healthcare excellence. Our key objective is to create a world-class healthcare platform and uphold meticulous service standards. Consequently, we welcome opportunities for partnerships with key players in the industry such as Microsoft Healthcare Solutions that serve to enhance the status of the healthcare sector in the region."
Sam Amory, Business Development Executive, Microsoft Healthcare Solutions, said: "We are privileged to interact with DHCC officials and present our product offerings. The open-day served as an ideal platform to understand and match DHCC's requirements with our wide range of programmes that are customised according to client needs. We are optimistic our partnership will grow from strength to strength as we look forward to adding useful components to the existing state-of-the-art infrastructure."
Within the past seven years, DHCC has grown into a cluster of over 90 outpatient medical centres and diagnostic laboratories, two JCI-accredited hospitals, as well as more than 100 commercial healthcare and retail services that follow stringent standards in healthcare delivery. The Center for Healthcare Planning and Quality (CPQ) is the regulatory body for DHCC responsible for monitoring and upholding international best practice in healthcare quality and patient care within the free zone.
