Dubai Ladies Club hosts Dental Hygiene Awareness day in cooperation with Dubai Health Authority

Dubai Ladies Club, a member of the Dubai Women Establishment, in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority; hosted a special Dental Hygiene Awareness day to educate club members and guests to promote good oral health and raise awareness of the dangers associated with poor dental hygiene.
Dubai Ladies Club set up a purpose-designed diabetes awareness booth where visitors were invited to learn about the oral health problems and to educate women and children to get the dental care they need. Staff from Dubai Health Authority took time to speak to children and their mothers about good oral hygiene habits, which will help to reduce the risk of oral health problems. The aim was to encourage parents to teach their children how to look after their teeth and gums from an early age. Teaching children about oral health while they are still very young helps to prevent oral health problems in the future and will cut the cost of dental healthcare.
As a women-only recreational facility, Dubai Ladies Club is committed to the health and wellbeing of its guests and staff. The club is closely involved in projects and initiatives that support such national drives designed to benefit the society at large.
