Dunia Art Exhibition inaugurated with live painting by artist Mashkoor Raza

Dunia Finance, the Abu Dhabi based financial services company, is hosting an elite art exhibition for the general public at its Abu Dhabi and Dubai branches this month, with displayed works from international artists including iconic Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali and Pakistani painter Ismail Gulgee. 

The exhibition was inaugurated during an exclusive opening event that took place on Saturday 12 March 2011 at the Dunia Media City Financial Centre. Along with the striking artwork displayed at the branch, renowned artist, Maskoor Raza dazzled the audience with a 20 minute display of live painting featuring his iconic horses. Also in attendance at the exhibition were UAE-based artists Khalifa and Tanya Ashraf, whose artwork are currently on display. 

Speaking about the exhibition, Dunia Finance CEO Rajeev Kakar said: "Dunia prides itself in being a community player. We continually aim to set ourselves apart by giving back to the communities in which we live and work. This art exhibition is just one example of how we can do so. I am confident the exhibition will be well received by the public and on behalf of Dunia would like to thank Mashkoor Raza along with the other artists whose works are on display for their contribution.” 

The exhibition is also showcasing the works of several influential artists including Jamil Naqsh, Sadequain, Owais Husain, Farrukh Shahab, and Mansur Aye. It is open to the public between March 13-17 in Dubai, Media City branch on Sheikh Zayed Road, and March 19 – 22 in Abu Dhabi, Hamdan branch on Hamdan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
