Dunkin’ Donuts promotion raises AED 35,000 for Sharjah charity

As part of its commitment to community welfare, Dunkin’ Donuts yesterday presented a cheque for AED 35,000 to the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services – a charity set up to benefit children with special needs. The amount was raised through a special promotion organised by the coffee and baked goods chain, recently.
Presenting the cheque, David Rodgers, General Manager of Dunkin’ Donuts said: “We are proud to continue our association with the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS). The charity has been doing outstanding work with these special children, and we would like to continue our contribution to this worthy cause as part of our commitment to the welfare of our community,” he added.
Dunkin’ Donuts also had a special treat of goodies for each child during a fun evening organised at the centre. “It was great to see the kids having fun and enjoying themselves”, said Mr. Rodgers. “It was a pleasure to add to the fun and children’s enjoyment with our gift packs.” He added that helping SCHS is “our way of giving back to the UAE community for its tremendous response to our products”.
