Abu Dhabi Police Detains 3 for Stealing 100 Mobiles from Shop

The Abu Dhabi Police have arrested three men for stealing 100 mobile phones, worth over Dh100,000 ($27,222), from a shop in Al Ain.

Colonel Mubarak Saif Al Sabousi, director of Al Ain Police directorate in the criminal security sector, said that the police station received a call from the owner of the a mobile shop, stating that somebody broke the glass door of the shop and stole 100 mobile phones worth over Dh100,000 ($27,222).

The police launched an investigation and soon arrested the three Asian suspects, who confessed to the crime during interrogation.

The case was referred to the competent judicial authorities.

Colonel Al Sabousi urged shop owners and residents to be extra cautious and to ensure their properties are properly secured to avoid any loss or damage to properties.
