Fighting in the street and swinging baseball bats, this is the terrifying brawl that left seven people in hospital including one fighting for his life today.
Footage of the fight in Luton shows two rival gangs battling in a fracas as where antagonists also wielded knives.
Some of the victims are said to have suffered stab wounds during the incident in a residential street north-west of the town centre on Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses said the victims, believed to be aged between 18 and 20, were left bleeding in the street.
Nazmul Islam, who works at a Grill Hut Peri Peri in a neighbouring road said: 'I saw two people who had been wounded.Some ambulances came and they were treated.
He added: Both of them were boys, about 18-20 years old. I saw that they were bleeding.'
Bedfordshire Police said it received reports of a 'large number of individuals fighting' in Saxon Road at 4.50pm.
Emergency services took some people to hospital for medical treatment 'after reports of stab wounds'.
Seven people were being treated in hospital and one was in a critical condition, the force said. Police have appealed for witnesses of the incident to come forward.
