Around 76 percent of "terrorism-related" websites are managed from within the United States, while the Daesh organization uses the social network Twitter to broadcast more than 250,000 posts per day to spread false beliefs among youth, an expert has said.

“Terrorist organizations, including Daesh, publish their extremist and aggressive ideas against Muslims and Islam under fake names through 146,000 electronic platforms,” Othman Al-Amer, vice chairman of the Intellectual Security Committee at the University of Hail, said during a seminar.

He displayed models about the threat of militant extremism in the world according to a variety of accurate statistics. He noted that there are countries that support militant activity within the Muslim world by supplying funds and offering organizational assistance, targeting young people to fall into their traps.

Al-Amer recommended that appropriate action be taken to stop any harm being committed against the Saudi national unity, stressing the importance of security and its impact on daily lives of people.
