Potential candidates are not only a few big names but many others who are not as prominent declared their intention to run for presidency as well. Following is a list of all names Aswat Masriya managed to gather in alphabetical order.

Abdallah Al-Asha’al – Ambassador and Former Assistant of Foreign Minister

Adballah Al-Samati – Poet and literary critic living in Saudi Arabia

Abdel Basset Al-Beltagi – A Safalist seeking candidacy for the second time after the 2005 elections
