The Internal Security Forces arrested an alleged sextortionist in the Metn area after one of his victims lodged a complaint to the Mount Lebanon Public Prosecution, a statement from the agency said Saturday.

A female resident submitted a complaint, saying the suspect threatened to publish sensitive pictures of her on numerous social networking sites.

The ISF were able to find the suspect, identified as Ch.B., born in 1989, within a few hours and arrested him in his home, located in the Metn area.

During his interrogation, the Lebanese national confessed that he had been in contact with the plaintiff for about six months. He told her he specialized in sexual psychology and pressured her to send private photos and videos.

After obtaining them, he threatened to publish them if she didn't submit to his sexual advances or send more blackmail material. In searching his computer and cell phone, the ISF found incriminating pictures of ten other women.

The ISF warned people of the dangers of sending sensitive pictures and asked victims to contact the agency so they can take the necessary legal action.
