Six people have been arrested for falsifying travel documents to facilitate the illegal movement of persons from Lebanon to European, Asian and African countries, General Security announced Monday.
The directorate also announced the arrest of one man on suspicion of attempting to leave the country undetected, another for illegally transferring funds, and two others on suspicion of engaging in human trafficking.
These arrests took place in the period between April 5 and April 12.
All of those detained have been referred to the authorities.
