Saudi Police have arrested a man who executed a robbery with a fake gun at a Saudi family's home in Riyadh in broad daylight in one of the boldest crimes that the city has ever witnessed.

According to Emaratyah, Riyadh Police issued a statement indicating that the man was arrested after surveillance cameras recorded the incident at the victim's villa. The police set a trap for the 38-year-old man, who confessed to the crime.

He had also broken the security camera above the villa's gate in order to carry out his robbery.

The man had entered the villa last Thursday by jumping over the gate and tried to break the surveillance camera. He also threatened the woman who resided in the villa but her son intervened and the thief escaped.
