Social media is almost always the first to lead tributes to major militant attacks on civilians around the world, be it in the form of cartoons, hashtags or pictures of solidarity.
Recent attacks in Brussels, Turkey, Paris have all seen the emergence of cartoons and other forms of tributes, which circulate widely among social media platforms.
People in Saudi Arabia, however, are now sharing a cartoon which questions the lack of empathy the world has towards their country in case of such attacks.
In the original cartoon, France can be seen consoling Belgium, and in the next cartoon, the two countries are joined by Turkey. The fourth cartoon shows Saudi Arabia standing at a distance, listing out the history of attacks.
Saudi Arabia has been the site of dozens of suicide bomb attacks over the last decade, carried out by Daesh, al-Qaeda, and other groups.
