A video of 28-year-old British freerunner Ryan Doyle showing off his parkour skills across Dubai was released on YouTube last week.
Sponsored by Red Bull, Doyle's Dubai clip is the latest in a series of videos showing Doyle hopping, jumping and scaling ordinary, everyday objects, as well as landmarks, around the globe as part of his 'Travel Story' video series.
In his Dubai montage, Doyle admits to wanting to find out about the historical Dubai as he visits the Old Souk, Dubai Creek and Bastakiya whilst flipping onto water taxis and somersaulting over the roofs of some of Dubai's oldest buildings.
The stunts performed in the clip are part of a discipline called parkour, which is free-running whilst tackling objects around you - benches, market displays, bridges and everything in between - using a variety of techniques such as climbing, flipping and jumping.
