Saudi Arabia has banned a series of video games amid allegations two children killed themselves while playing the online 'game' Blue Whale.
Grand Theft Auto V, Assassin's Creed 2 and The Witcher are among 47 games being outlawed by the Saudi General Commission for Audio-Visual Media for unspecified violations of rules and regulations.
The ban was in response to the deaths of a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy in the Kingdom.
They reportedly killed themselves after playing the so-called 'Blue Whale' social media game, though the agency did not say what the connection was.
Also known as the Blue Whale Challenge, participants are said to be given a series of tasks to complete, capped with killing themselves at the end.
It's thought a group administrator assigns daily tasks to members, which they have to complete over 50 days.
The horrific tasks include self-harming, watching horror movies and waking up at unusual hours, but these gradually get more extreme.
