ALBAWABA - There are some out there who may think that after a certain age, it isn't possible to learn new things, be it at a class or otherwise. Muhammad Saeed Al-Karbalai proves that line of thinking wrong as despite being 80 years old, that didn't stop him from being a law school student at the University of Kerbala and graduating.
In an interview with "Erm News," Al-Karbalai shared his lifelong passion for learning that led him back to the classroom.

Reflecting on his journey, Al-Karbalai recalled his early years of education in the 1940s and the big impact his teachers had on him, igniting a love for reading and knowledge. After completing his studies in Civil Engineering in 1971 and working in various state departments, he sadly faced some challenges which temporarily halted his educational pursuits until 2003.
Driven by his thirst for knowledge, Al-Karbalai decided to enroll in a law school at the University of Kerbala. Today, he proudly stands as a graduate, his deep respect for the study of law as a means to defend truth, advocate for the oppressed, and combat falsehood.

In his closing remarks, Al-Karbalai encouraged others to continue their educational journey regardless of age, and that learning knows no bounds. He emphasized that education and wisdom are what truly show one's cultural richness and inner growth.
His dedication to studying should serve as an inspiration to all, old or young, as it shows that with passion and determination, age ends up not being the barrier it is made up to be.
