Revered Saudi singer and oud master Mohamed Abdo is set to perform at Dubai World Trade Center’s Sheikh Rashid Hall to close this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises. Abdo became noticed for his singing voice in 1960, when he was just 12 years old, and sang in a radio programme called 'Baba Abbas'. Since that time, his talent has taken him all over the world, and he has released dozens of albums. Renowned for his renditions of traditional tunes, concert-goers will have the chance to hear the troubadour sing his most famous songs, including ‘El Amaken’, ‘Bent El Noor’, and ‘Marrat Sana’. You can also expect to hear tracks from his latest album, Omri Nahr. He’s a well-loved singer and will bring his unique voice and instrumental skill to this one-off event.
