According to the London daily Elaph, close sources to the Egyptian artist Hamadeh Hilal said that Egyptian artist Shireen Abed Al Wahab is stable, after she was put under close supervision for two days at the Khalifah Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Hilal said that after he heard the news about Shireen, he rushed to the hospital to make sure she was doing well.

Hilal said that in the beginning the doctors thought she might be infected with the ‘H1N1’ virus, but she tested negative for the virus.

Hilal said that Shireen was unable to perform in ‘Al Ain City’ because of her illness and he had to perform instead of her.

Shireen caught a cold before she began her performance in Abu Dhabi on 2 December at a celebration for the 38th Emirati National Union Day. Moments before going up on stage Shireen had severe pains in her stomach and she was taken to the hospital.  While in the hospital doctors determined that Shireen is pregnant.
