The Egyptian comedian Ashraf Abed Al Baqi is very happy with the positive feedback that has received from his new television comedy series “Abu Dihkah Gnan” (The One with the Crazy Laugh).
Ashraf plays the role of the late Egyptian comedian Ismail Yaseen. Audiences loved Ismail Yaseen and felt sorry for his tough childhood, said Ashraf
The new series tells the life story of Ismail Yaseen. The last few episodes focus on Ismail’s corrupt father that married an English woman after his mother died when he was a child.
Ismail’s stepmother treated him cruelly, forcing him to work as a fabric salesperson when he was still a child.
The new series also depicts Ismail’s accomplishments as an actor. He starred in more than 500 films, performed in more than 60 plays and more than 200 musical performances that were loved by audiences throughout the Arab world.
Egyptian actor Abu Al Saud Al Abyari was one of the main companions of Ismail throughout his art career.
Egyptian actor Ahmad Bdair was the manager of Ismail’s theater career.
The drama series “Abu Dihkah Gnan” is being aired during the month of Ramadan on Arab satellite channels like “Rotana Khalijyah”, “Al Hayah”, “Al Hayah Musalsalat” and “Al Somaryeh”.
