22 Palestinian TV, Radio artworks in Cairo Fest

The administration of the Cairo Television and Radio Festival has received 22 Palestinian artworks which will participate in the 8th session to be held during the period between July 6 – 9, according to the London-based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat. 

In the Radio contests, Palestine will participate with five programs: Samaa Sawdaa (black sky), al Intifada, Sawater al Thahab (gold veiling), Qisas Min Sijellat al Muqawama (stories from the resistance files) and al Tariq Ila al Mukhayam (the road to the camp). 

The Palestinian TV will participate with Hisar al Masih (Jesus’ siege), Jenin Camp, al Shahed wa al Shahid (the witness and the martyr) and Watan Fi al Qalb (homeland in the heart). 

The operettas: Sarkhet al Quds (Jerusalem shout) and Elan al Dawla (declaration of the state), and the songs: Jenin, Risalah Ela al Atfal (message to the children) and Fik al Watan Yehla, will participate in the varieties contest. 

In the special contest for the Palestinian steadfastness, the Palestinian TV presents three programs, the first is on “Nativity Church of Peace and Steadfastness”, Malhamet Aed Jenin (the epic of Jenin returnee) and Rughm al Hisar (despite the siege).  

Also, there are five documentary films, The Story of Nablus), The Israeli Aggression on the Palestinian Radio and TV, The siege on Bethlehem and The History of Jerusalem – Albawaba.com
