Here are seven celebrities who have lived in Bahrain. Let's start with the 'King of Pop'.
 
Michael Jackson lived in Bahrain from June 2005 to May 2006. Jackson fled from the Neverland Ranch to Bahrain to hide out after he was acquitted of child molestation charges.

Shakira attended the Defense Dependents School known as DODDS located next to the American Base in Juffair, in the early 90’s. She even mentions Bahrain in her song ‘Ojos Asi’:

"I travelled from Bahrain to Beirut

I went from the north to the south pole

and I never found eyes like those"

Jacqueline Fernandez, Sri Lankan actress, former model, and the winner of the 2006 Miss Universe moved to Bahrain with her family in the 1980s.

She hosted television shows in Bahrain such as ‘Tic-Tac-Toe’ since the age of fourteen.

American actor Shemar Moore and his family moved to Bahrain when he was four-years-old.

Moore portrayed FBI agent Derek Morgan on the popular American series ‘Criminal Minds’ on CBS.

Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, reportedly converted to Islam after a trip to Bahrain in 1989.  

Jermaine was the original lead singer of the Jackson Brothers—an earlier incarnation of The Jackson Five.
