ALBAWABA- Former "That '70s Show" star Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the rape of two women that occurred two decades ago.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo handed down the sentence after hearing from the victims about the trauma they endured.

One survivor, raped by Masterson in 2003, said, "When you raped me, you stole from me. That's what rape is, a theft of the spirit." The other survivor, also assaulted by Masterson, emphasized his lack of remorse.

After a mistrial, Masterson was retried and found guilty of two counts in May. Both assaults took place in Masterson's home in 2003, during the height of his fame on "That '70s Show."

The judge imposed the maximum sentence, making Masterson eligible for parole after 25 1/2 years but possibly facing life in prison.

Masterson did not react visibly. The survivors accused Masterson of using his influence in the Church of Scientology to evade consequences. The Church denied involvement.
