Prominent Kuwaiti singer Abdallah Al Ruwaished revealed that the most thing her regrets in his life is getting married at such a young age. During an interview on the new program “Hatha Ana” (This is me) on the Arab satellite channel MBC and hosted by Lebanese journalist Rania Barghouth, Abdallah said that he had gotten married at the age of 18 and was overwhelmed with so many responsibilities.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Abdallah said that being married so young he missed out on so much in life and was unable to live his young adulthood in the way he wanted. He added that he wanted to be like other young men at the time to have the freedom to do as they please and travel the world.
During the show, Abdallah talked about himself without revealing too much, because according to him he is a very private person and does not like to go into details about his personal life. He added that the only person he is willing to reveal secrets to is his long life friend Salem Al Hindi, General Manager of the production company ‘Rotana’. Abdallah said that he and Salem go a long way back and are more than friends, for Salem is a very important part of his life.
Abdallah also stated on the show that he dreams of being honored while he is alive for all his achievements in his music career, which has lasted for 32 years so far. He added that he had worked very hard throughout his life to make a name for himself in the music industry and deserves to be recognized for it.
