The play “Memo” starring Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy is coming to Egypt following its recent successes after being shown in Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season – marking Helmy’s return to Egypt’s theaters after 23 years.

Helmy announced, through his official Instagram account, that Memo will come to Egypt on Eid al-Adha.

The play includes many stars such as Hana al-Zahed, Nour Ihab, Hana Shiha, Hamdi al-Mirghani, Ahmed Rizk, Mohamed Radwan.

It is written by Diaa Mohamed, and directed by Hisham Atwa.

Memo has been shown in several cities in Saudi Arabia, including Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, Abha, and Taif, and all performances raised the “complete” banner.

Helmy last stood on stage for a play in Egypt back in 2001, with “Hakim Oyoun,” in which he participated alongside stars such as Alaa Wali Eddin and Karim Abdel-Aziz.
