If you're looking for relationships advice, Ahlam isn't the first person who'd come to mind for some. Nonetheless, the fierce (in the traditional scary sense) singer has been dishing out some love tips to her female fans on Twitter!

The happily-married singer sounded quite the feminist in a tweet advising women to “stamp on men's heads to get to their hearts!”

“Dear women: A man is like a coconut, hard on the outside, with a white heart on the inside. And in order to get to his heart you need to smash their heads in (the hard shell),” Ahlam tweeted.

They say in the West, 'Treat them mean, keep them keen,' so does Ahlam have a point?

Miss Controversy received mixed responses to her tweet on the age-old subject. While some disagreed with Ahlam, others questioned whether her husband was one of those men whose skull needs a good cracking that she's alluding to.

Meanwhile, some suspected that Ahlam is facing some trouble in paradise, which would explain the timely tweet.

We think not! Ahlam has always praised her hubby, Mubarak Al Hajeri, and gloated about their fabulous marriage and his supportive attitude towards her and the career choices she makes. But where there's smoke, there's usually flames, and not necessarily love flames!
