According to the London daily Elaph, Emirati listeners were shocked by false reports that the famous Emirati artist Ahlam died last week.
Ahlam’s fans started sending their condolences and relaying the horrific news via their cellular phones.
Alham said that she left the hospital a few days prior to the false reports of her death.
Ahlam’s brother Muhammad Al Shamsi told “Elaph” during a phone interview that Ahlam is doing well in Dubai with her husband and children.
Ahlam was hospitalized with a virus prior to delivering her baby daughter on 14 April.
