Ahmad Barada heads to Hollywood

Former Egyptian squash champion Ahmad Barada, who has left the sports world and entered the entertainment world, is in the process of filming a new music video “<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Nancy” to be directed by an Italian director in Italy. Ahmad revealed that the new song falls under the romance genre and once it is complete it will be aired on all Arabic satellite music channels and will not be exclusive to just one.

 

According to the London based Elaph, the new singer has noted that he will be presenting something new to his audience through the song. Ahmad stressed that the idea presented in the clip will surely meet the satisfaction of viewers around the Arab world.

 

Concerning the cinema, Ahmad revealed that he has accepted an offer to play a leading role in a new joint Egyptian-American film. The movie will be filmed in the Unite States under the production of American producers.

 

Barada has denied recent circulating rumors about producing a new film or television series about his life. He added that he was shocked when he heard the rumor saying that he is not a famous figure to have a movie created about him. Ahmad assured that no one has ever requested any personal information to use in a film, but added that there might be a new film about an athlete and people must have assumed its him.

 

It is worth noting that Ahmad had entered the music industry three years ago after resigning from his sport career as a squash player. He was one of the top squash players worldwide and had one a world champion trophy back in 1999, which had taken place in Egypt.
