Prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Hilmi was successful to top the Egyptian Box Office and achieved the highest profits with his latest film “X-Large”. The film had brought in over 2.7 million Egyptian pounds only two days after its screening during the recent Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.

The film broke the record of obtaining the highest record for bringing in the highest profits in a very short time from its release.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Egyptian newspapers reported that the film “Sima Ali Baba” starring Egyptian actor Ahmad Makki achieved 1.6 million pounds on the first day of its screening. It was added that the second day of screening for Makki’s film profits dropped due to the disappointment of audiences, who considered the film to be of low quality and most people began walking out of the film before it was over.

Many people had expressed that Makki failed to attract people to his film due to the repetition of the same character he played in previous works.
