After an agreement was reached between Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz and the production group CBC to present a new television drama to be aired during this year’s Ramadan season, the entire project has been postponed to 2013. The postponing of the project is due to the fact that no story has been selected yet to mark Ahmad’s second drama experience after his role in the drama “Al Adham”.
Ahmad also wanted to postpone the project to avoiding rushing into choosing a script that may not be up to standards.
On a different note, Ahmad denied recent circulating rumors of disputes between him and Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Sakka resulting from their upcoming film “Al Maslaha” (The Favor). The film is near completion and is scheduled to be screened during the summer season, reported the London based Elaph.
