His dream didn’t fully come true in Arab Idol 2 - he didn’t become the region’s next Arab Idol by title, but Ahmad Jamal from Egypt did not return home empty handed.
The talent show finalist shared a flight back to the capital city with stunning singer Angham, who had been in Beirut exclusively to attend the Arab Idol finale in support of her homeboy.
According to the Middle East news portal, crowds of fans and the press arrived at the Cairo airport hours before the aspiring artist's arrival and greeted with him with loud cheers.
After such a warm welcome home, Ahmad shared his gratitude for their support, promising to thank them by airing "Meen Hia Masr" (Who is Egypt), which he had performed in the show, as well as a religious song during Ramadan. Even more exciting for Ahmad is that ‘Platinum Records’ will now be producing all his upcoming projects!
