French doctor Shifaleih, who is an expert in cancerous tumors, has examined the health condition of prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki in the presence of Doctor Yasser Abd Al Kader, who heads the medical team supervision the actor. The French doctor stressed that the condition of the actor is gradually improving and calls for a routine checkup every two months.

According to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, Ahmad’s doctor have given him permission to resume his acting career but must take extra precautions and avoid coming down with colds or being placed under exhausting circumstances. Due to this the actor has postponed the filming of his film “Rasael Bahr” (Letters from Sea) until the month of April when the weather is warmer and more suitable for his health condition.

The film was also postponed because it contains many outdoor scenes, especially ones under the rain, which will surely negatively affect Ahmad’s health. The Film “Halim”, which is about the life of the late legendary Egyptian singer Abdul Halim Hafez, will not face any postponing and shooting of the scenes will begin in a month’s time.

Recent test results for Ahmad revealed that the actor has regained a stable health condition and is very assuring aside from the fact that there is clear sign of weakness in his right lung. Doctors announced that Ahmad may start on his acting activities just as long as it is for a few hours a day and that he must not over exhaust himself. Doctors added that the actor must stay away from dusty noisy areas while filming the scenes of his films as well as staying away from smokers especially in closed places.

The health condition of Zaki had deteriorated and he was immediately admitted to hospital and underwent several tests and x-rays. The sudden deterioration occurred just days before the scheduled arrival of the French doctor.

Dr. Yasser revealed that blood and tumor tests were made on the actor in order to decide how critical his condition has become. The doctor added that test results show that the actor is experiencing a minor decrease in his right lung immunity, which is an expected outcome of the chemotherapy the actor underwent five months ago.
