Egyptian funnyman, Ahmed Helmy, has been making his mark back home for some time but the actor hit the big time when he decided to star in Arab movie, 'Ala Jithiti' (Over My Dead Body) last year.
The comedian moved from critical acclaim to household name when the movie went viral in Egypt. Producers managed to rake in profits of 9 million Egyptian Pounds (US$1,340,422) but apparently still weren't satisfied with the money made.
Now they are looking at the Canadian market to up their profit margins even further and plan on screening the film there in the near future.
