Scandalous Egyptian actress Muna Zaki was not able to accompany her husband to Lebanon to watch the final episode of the Middle East’s most popular talent show: “Arab Idol 2.” She had to miss out on all the fun with the filming deadline for "Dunia Asia" right around the corner.
Her husband, actor and comedian Ahmed Helmy, hit up Beirut on his own to watch the final episode of 'Arab Idol' live and give his support to the Egyptian finalist Ahmad Jamal, according to Sayidaty.net. He also conveyed the support of Zaki and all of Egypt. Looks like the hit talent show season finale was one of few justifiable reasons to part from his beloved and her current project.
The final episode featured finalists Ahmad Jamal from Egypt, Farah Yousif from Syria and Mohammad Assaf from Gaza. Despite Helmy’s support for Jamal, Assaf of Palestine won first place. Too bad his presence wasn't enough to give Ahmad the win. He lost the winning title to Palestinian fave Mohammad Assaf.
