Lebanese singer Ala Zalzaly was born in 1975. Like many other Lebanese singers, Ala first appeared on the musical scene through Lebanese TV’s ‘Studio El Fan’ (Studio or Arts). Zalzaly won first place in the Lebanese Song category.
Ala’s first album, Tareeq El Qadar (Path of Fate), was his first real break. The album made the singer a household name in Lebanon. The album sold 5,000 copies in its first day of release (a large number considering the place and the population number).
Ala Zalzaly has his own style. However, many claim that the singer is trying to portray himself as the ‘Arabic version of Elvis Presley.’
Ala’s four albums to date are Dakheelik (Please), Hayati Mughamara (My Life is an Adventure), Ahla Uyoun (The Most Beautiful Eyes) and Ruddi El Salam (Say Hello Back).
