Khader Alamah, brther and business manager of Lebanese singer Ragheb Alamah, denied circulating rumors that the concert held by the singer in Beirut during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha did not meet the anticipated success. Khader stated that tickets were sold out days before the concert and the performance was a tremendous success.
Khader also denied recent media reports that the singer received the lowest wage among all other singers for his concert, which was said to be 100 thousand US dollars. Khader stressed that the singer’s wage was never discussed with any media representative and therefore all that has been said is not true.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Khader said that he is the only person who has any knowledge of the actual amount the singer received for the concert and such financial matters are never discussed with the media.
Khader added that in the upcoming period the singer is scheduled to hold a number of concerts in a number of hotels in Lebanon.
