The head of Art Department at the Cairo Opera House, Abdel Mine’m Kamel announced that the ballet troupe led by the Algerian French Qader Balarabi will portray many dancing shows for the first time in Egypt next Saturday.

“These shows will be coordinated with the French embassy in Cairo as part of the cultural cooperation agreement between Egypt and France and within the context of dialogue between civilizations. This can be achieved through culture familiarization including the unique international music and body language, which needs no interpreters. The founder of the troupe has combined between the Algerian heritage and classical European music heritage,” Kamel told AFP.

The troupe will perform the dance “Salim” which is based on Barbaric poems sung for the women of Auras in Algeria by Houriyyah A’ishi. This is in addition to single and double dances from ballets such as al Jamal al Naem (Sleeping Beauty), Bain Ethnain (Between Two), Naba Shajarat al Teen (Spring of Fig Tree) which are based on the music of Fanani Altropado in the middle ages in Europe, Adonis and Don Kishot -- Albawaba.com
