She's a human rights lawyer. She's a fashionista. She's married to George Clooney. Is there anything Amal Alamuddin can't do?
Well, Mrs Clooney is now headed to the Ivy League.
The 37-year-old barrister is joining the faculty at Columbia Law School in New York City this spring, where she will be teaching as a visiting professor, the university announced Friday.
Amal will lecture on human rights law as a senior fellow with the Law School's Human Rights Institute, the college confirmed in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.
"I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here," Clooney said in the announcement. We bet it'll be a full house at Clooney's lectures!
Amal specializes in human rights and international law. Her impressive resume includes defensing Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and representing Armenia in the Armenian genocide case.
No one can argue how brilliantly smart she is, not even her hubby, who recently admitted that "my wife's the smart one" at a charity gig in New York.
While Amal gets down to business with her high-profile cases and teaching duties, George is busy filming "Money Monster" with Julia Roberts - directed by Jodie Foster - in NYC.
