Back to the top with her latest album and after a successful duet, Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi is still conquering the top charts in the music market with her album "Zaman" (The Past) airing on local and satellite channels throughout the Arab world. Amal has decided that she will take time-off and travel to Europe for leisure and peace of mind, after her hectic schedule these past months of releasing new music videos and hosting concerts around the Arab world during the holiday season.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Amal feels it is necessary after her concert on New Year’s Eve to hide away and find time to be with herself. The singer has recently returned to Lebanon after a busy schedule in Dubai hosting concerts and being a guest on a number of talk shows.
After her return from Europe, Amal will begin looking into a number of offers she has already received to perform, one of which is a tour between Brazil and Latin America.
On a different note, her album "Zaman" has gone beyond expectations in the number of breaking figures in the music market all over the world. The twelve-song album, produced by Universal Company in Paris, held two major surprises, the first, her duet with Faudel, entitled "Einak" (Your Eye), written by Faudel and Tony Abi Karam, and the second with the duo Omar and Rafi.
